That’s right Priya and Umesh had two wedding days at two venues and we loved the fact that we got to be there to photograph and film them!
First there was the traditional Vedic ceremony according to Hindu tradition so we headed to Wembley. Getting to shoot wedding photography at Bhaktivedanta Manor was amazing. Priya and Umesh’s ceremony was just stunning. Priya looked breathtakingly beautiful in a traditional Indian bridal red sari.
One of the many things we love about shooting Hindu wedding photography is that the ceremonies are always interesting and colourful. Priya and Umesh’s ceremony included lots of Hindi wedding traditions that involved their guests in the ceremony making it a far more intimate occasion for everybody.
Now onto wedding number two. As Priya and Umesh’s ceremony at Bhaktivedanta Manor was just a blessing they also had a civil ceremony at Brighton town hall. For this Priya wore a pretty white dress from ASOS and Umesh a smart grey suit. Bridesmaids were in pink. This was followed by a wedding reception at Firle Place. Shooting wedding photography at Firle Place is a dream booking. A country estate in the south downs national park with amazing interiors and spectacular views. What more could anybody have asked for!
Priya and Umesh hired Firle Place’s Georgian Riding School for their reception. A stunning Grade 2* listed building located in the private grounds of the house. Its grand size and spectacular ceiling with exposed oak beams made it the perfect space for their wedding reception. Priya said that it was perfect for them as they were given the freedom to dress it however they wished so they could really make their vision happen.
Speeches were amazing and were followed by the entertainment which we loved. There was a traditional Indian drummer and LED hula hoops that with the amazing string of fairy lights spanning across the ceiling looked epic. Take a look at our party images! Priya, Umesh and their guests were so much fun and were really up for a party. We know that letting their hair down with all of their loved ones after all that planning was Priya and Umesh’s favourite part of their amazing wedding days.
One of our favourite shots of the day was a romantic and simple sunset shot of Priya and Umesh. Take a look, we love it.
A traditional Vedic blessing ceremony and a party in a traditional British wedding venue. Cherry picking the best from Indian and British wedding traditions gave Priya and Umesh two amazing wedding days to remember. Thanks for having us along to your amazing weddings. We loved them and hope that our images and film will allow you relive your wedding moments again and again for many years to come.
We’ll leave the last word to Priya and Umesh. This is what they had to say about working with us… ‘Amazing! Such fun, easy going very professional guys, would highly recommend them. Made us feel at ease and knew exactly what they were doing.’
